Sam K Photos is a Vancouver-based studio specializing in actor headshots, portraits, and editorial work.
Founded by actor and photographer Sam K., the studio was built around a simple idea: headshots should feel human, grounded, and playable - not overly polished or performative.
Because Sam spends as much time in front of the camera as he does behind it, he approaches headshots differently. He’s less interested in perfection and polish, and more focused on presence: images that feel specific, honest, and usable in real casting contexts.
Sessions are collaborative, relaxed, and intentional. You’ll talk through what you’re submitting for, shape your looks with purpose, and work toward images that feel specific, honest, and like you.
